Job Description
Essential functions
- Perform services (oil changes, tire changes, tire mounting and balancing, grease fittings, change light bulbs, etc.) on vehicles
- Perform services on equipment
- Small engine repairs
- Assist mechanics on larger repairs
- Learn and develop skills to move up to mechanic position
- Perform any other duty or assignment as may be required from time to time by their supervisor
- Document records of service and repair work on all trucks and equipment
Work environment
- Work around equipment that is loud and noisy
- Work indoors and outdoors
- Work around moving equipment
Physical demands
- Stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Use fingers, hands, and arms to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
- Work on uneven surfaces and various heights, with fall protection
- See and hear well (either naturally or with correction).
- Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Required education and experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year of related experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical
- Class C Driver’s License
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

- Automotive repair: 2 years (Required)
